Walking To Fight the Coronavirus
Pledged in Total
Every step counts
The Coronavirus Walk was made by a couple of students at Monta Vista High School & Kennedy Middle School looking to fight COVID-19 in every way they can. It is one way you can help the effort against COVID-19 as well. With the shelter-at-home order being instated across the country, exercise has been limited. However, we must keep healthy. So, why not walk for the Corona Walk? While burning those calories, you are also helping those in need. For every mile you walk, five or ten dollars will be donated to the Valley Medical Center Foundation, who is urgently seeking donations to respond to the COVID-19 crisis in Santa Clara County (https://vmcfoundation.org/). You can participate as a sponsor, walker, or both. Start pledging or start logging in those miles today!
Share the website link to your friends or family so they can start walking too.
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walks a thousand miles
To fall down at your door
"In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks."
